COLD FUSION HAIR EXTENSIONS

Also Known As...

Ultrasonic Hair Extensions, no heat method, cold fusion, fusion hair extensions

Advantages:  Cold Fusion can last up to 5 or 6 months.  Some people do better with 3 to 4 months. It all depends on how fine or thick your hair is.

These bonds can be cut vertically and horizontally to any size.   For example, if you have very fine hair with low density the bond may be cut both vertically and horizontally so that the keratin is smaller in size and is lighter in weight.

The attachment is molded into a flat formation so that it feels flat to the head when you run your hands over your head.

Things to Consider:  In some cases lengthy application time (the more hair used the longer the process on the flip side the less hair used the quicker application can be) , the removal can take some time

Application Method:   The Cold Fusion Method  utilizes ultrasonic wave.  This wave or "vibration" action generates heat within the bond and allows the stylist to mold the bond attachments into a flat formation or round one.

It is attached to your own hair that should equal the same amount of the extension hair  or at least 3/4 so that your own hair can support the weight of the extension.

Extension Removal:  To remove keratin bonds, a solution that is 98% alcohol is used to wet the bonds.  I use Everclear alcohol which can be purchased at your local liquor store or I use the hair extension companies remover solution.

Once the keratin bond is wet from the solution, a small pair of pliers is used to break down the bond.  I like for my pliers to have a flat surface instead of the ones that have ridges in it.  I feel it is more gentle on the hair.
