ON MY LOVELY CLIENT, I USED ABOUT 50 PCS OF MICROBEAD EXTENSIONS AT THE CROWN PART OF HER HEAD.

THIS HELPS WITH COVERAGE AND ADDS THICKNESS TO HER HAIR.

AS THE FINISHING TOUCH, I SPRAYED L'OREAL PARIS MAGIC ROOT COVER UP TO THE VERY TOP OF HER HEAD IN MEDIUM BLONDE; HOWEVER, I WOULD USE DARK BLONDE NEXT TIME.

* THIS VERY AFFORDABLE PRODUCT IS A QUICK WAY TO COVER GRAYS AND ROOTS IN BETWEEN YOUR COLOR SERVICES.

FINE HAIR CAN BE TOO SOFT AND SEPARATE CAUSING EXTENSIONS TO SHOW.  THE MAGIC SPRAY WILL ADD TEXTURE AND HELP YOUR HAIR STAY IN PLACE ON THOSE WINDY DAYS.

We Lose Hair Everyday

Although, there are hair extensions for thinning hair, it is important to realize we lose about 50 to 150 hairs per day.  This is normal and should not be interpreted as something bad since the average head has about 100,000 individual hair shafts of hair.  Our hair grows and sheds at different times.

There are 3 cycles:

  • Anagen:  The Growing Phase
  • Catagen:  The Transitional Phase - signals the end of the growth phase
  • Telogen:  The Resting Phase - When catagen ends, the hair follicle begins a 2 to 6 month phase of resting.  10%  to 15% of our hair is in the resting phase at any one time.

I like to point this out.....not to bore you, but to share some important facts because when you notice hair in your brush or in the shower drain, it might not be as bad as you think!

It's a natural process.

Baldness Or Excessive Thinning?

There are many causes to hair loss.  Triggers range from hormones, nutritional problems such as too much Vitamin A, crash dieting, bulimia, anorexia, lack of protein and Vitamin B12, lack of essential fatty acids or zinc, biotin deficiency, malabsorption (the difficulty in absorbing the nutrients from food), low iron and thyroid problems.

Some women may notice hair loss after giving birth.  People under extreme amounts of stress may experience hair thinning.

The good news is hair often grows back once the cause is addressed!
